The P.R.A.Y.E.R. Method

Encounter God Through Scripture and Prayer

Prayer is more than bringing requests before God—it is an invitation into relationship with Him. The P.R.A.Y.E.R. Method is a simple, Scripture-centered approach designed to help you slow down, listen, respond, and grow in your walk with Christ.

Whether you are new to prayer or have walked with the Lord for years, this method provides a practical framework for deeper communion with God through His Word.

What is the P.R.A.Y.E.R. Method?

P - Praise

Begin by worshiping God for who He is.

"Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise." — Psalm 100:4

R - Repent

Confess sin and align your heart with God.

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us." — 1 John 1:9

A - Ask

Bring your requests and needs before the Lord.

"Let your requests be made known to God." — Philippians 4:6

Y - Yield

Surrender your plans, desires, and expectations.

"Not my will, but Yours, be done." — Luke 22:42

E - Exclaim

Declare God's promises and truth with faith.

"I will speak of the glorious honor of Your majesty." — Psalm 145:5

R - Release

Trust God with the outcome and rest in His care.

"Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." — 1 Peter 5:7
